Kership is a French company specializing in the construction of vessels of less than 100 meters, mainly dedicated to the Action de l’Etat en Mer. Created in 2013 on the initiative of two major players in the shipbuilding industry, Piriou and Naval Group, the company has numerous projects under its belt, all destined for French navies;Today, the company employs nearly one hundred people in Concarneau and Lanester. Kership supports its customers throughout the lifecycle of their vessels, offering services ranging from training to operational maintenance.

In response to the needs of navies, coastguards, customs authorities and institutions, Kership offers a range of vessels dedicated to government action at sea:
• Ecological Patrol Vessels, focused on security operations, the fight against various types of trafficking, and defense at sea,
• Multimission Vessels, designed for versatility, reliability and safety;used for versatility, assistance and support to fleets, and for carrying out containerized missions,
• Specialized vessels for specific missions: mine warfare, hydro-oceanography, seabed control, logistics, amphibious, training, etc.
Kership leverages its systems expertise to offer innovative, top-of-the-range, tailor-made global solutions, integrating combat systems tailored to the needs of its customers (ships and shore-based centers).
Kership is currently involved in a wide range of major programs, from ocean-going patrol boats to mine warfare systems, both in France and abroad.
Based on KERSHIP’s expertise in shipbuilding and systems integration, the OPV 90 is designed for both military and civilian missions in EEZs, ranging from security and law enforcement to environmental protection.

Designed for long operations in EEZs, the BSAM can be used for civilian missions such as pollution response, logistical support, assistance and rescue. It can also support military missions for special operations, surveillance and policing at sea.
The BSAM is equipped with a workboat and a RIB, a crane for container handling, and can also accommodate divers, support a submarine in port, and set up an anti-pollution boom.

KERSHIP offers a wide range of armed vessels (up to 95 m) designed for State action at sea for the benefit of navies, coastguards, customs, scientific institutions…KERSHIP is currently leading several major construction programs (French and foreign navies) with associated services including Maintenance in Operational Condition (MCO).
KERSHIP is the joint venture founded in 2013 by PIRIOU and Naval Group, two experts in engineering, shipbuilding, military systems and services. This alliance is based on their complementary experience and know-how: PIRIOU, 60 years of shipbuilding, and Naval Group, world leader in naval defense.
