TYREX SAS
Created in 2017, the TYREX (ex. KUB) solution stems from a request from a major player in the Defense sector, for whom we developed this offering in response to the following problem: 30% of viruses come from USB media.
With over 3,000 decontamination terminals deployed worldwide today, and more than 200 active customers, TYREX has become the leader in its sector. As a benchmark, TYREX protects industrial and defense environments for a number of major organizations in France and around the world: institutions, governments, manufacturers, shipowners…
Member of Hexatrust, and in the process of obtaining CSPN certification, sovereignty of development, support and production is at the heart of our company’s DNA.
USB media are a well-known compromise vector. However, there are many cases where their use is necessary, if only to apply updates to certain systems. TYREX is designed to address this issue: to enable the use of USB keys in your environment, while minimizing the risk of malware infection.
The concept is simple: the user connects their USB device and it is automatically scanned. If malware is detected, a clean-up operation can be requested. As an option, a resident agent checks the keys by reading an encrypted certificate issued by TYREX, and prevents access to those identified as infected.
TYREX also prevents the connection of the USB key – even when cleaned. USB key – even if cleaned – to a machine in the environment: its healthy contents can be transferred to an internal network share.

In precision of the elements described in the product « Solution TYREX » :
The TYREX solution is fully in line with the ’IGI 1300, II920 (for CD environments and above) and circular II901 (for Restricted Diffusion activities).
The TYREX products are hardened physically, software and in communications.
TYREX products are also hardened to identify and resist BadUSB and USBKill attacks.
For Europe and the rest of the world, whether for ENISA, the UK CGHQ, the US NIST, the international IMO 428(98) for Maritime or any other regulations, TYREX makes a point of adapting to êbe qualifiable and enter into cyber risk control, MCS, homologations.’
‘The TYREX solution comprises 3 products:
– TYREX Management Server: administration and updates for kiosks,
– TYREX Console, Satellite (pictured), Totem, Mobile: decontamination kiosks,
– TYREX Agent: control agent for workstations/servers/industrial machines.
It aims to provide antivirus and antimalware decontamination for all USB-based data storage hardware.
It also provides:
– surface erasure functions using military algorithms,
– file transfer functions using protocol rupture.
It is designed for offices as well as operating theaters: the solution is ruggedized, mobile and secure.’
