The Deep Company, specialised in deep-water subsea intervention, becomes Apollo Subsea (AS), a subsidiary of Apollo Generator S.A.S.
With its staff’s more than 20 years of experience in special subsea operations, AS pursues its core activities from France and brings its maritime and subsea expertise to the Apollo group all areound the workd over several type of services for the industry.
Apollo-Generators manufactures radioisotope generator solutions for subsea applications.
APOLLO SUBSEA, specializing in underwater prospecting and intervention, manages special projects at great depths (0-11,000 m), industrial activities (hydrography/prospecting), retrievals and rescues required to master the deep sea. Our projects are often confidential, but our recognized expertise has enabled us to work on all kinds of incidents involving aircraft (AF447, MS804, MH370), submarines (San Juan, Minerve), contract rescues (City of Cairo) and environmental incidents (America Grande).
In terms of innovation, TDC has created the world’s only “full ocean depth” side scan sonar, used to map ocean trenches. In our team, Jérémie MORIZET, who became the French oceanographer to have dived the deepest in history at 10,806 m (Oct. 24), has validated a positioning system, making submersible dives safer.
