About

The Deep Company SAS (TDC) was created in June 2023. Coming from the offshore industry, the Cherbourg INTECHMER school, and the French Navy, we’ve been involved in the main deepwater projects of the last two decades via our international structure.
We try to be at the various events in the maritime world. Several national partnerships are underway, but are still confidential. Our expertise and ability to innovate are of interest to a number of French charterers, as well as GICAN member companies. Our development is set to accelerate in 2025, with the implementation of a new submarine robot built between France, and Norway, and also the creation in Normandy of a technical base (in progress).

.

THE DEEP COMPANY, specializing in underwater prospecting and intervention, manages special projects at great depths (0-11,000 m), industrial activities (hydrography/prospecting), retrievals and rescues required to master the deep sea. Our projects are often confidential, but our recognized expertise has enabled us to work on all kinds of incidents involving aircraft (AF447, MS804, MH370), submarines (San Juan, Minerve), contract rescues (City of Cairo) and environmental incidents (America Grande).
In terms of innovation, TDC has created the world’s only “full ocean depth” side scan sonar, used to map ocean trenches. In our team, Jérémie MORIZET, who became the French oceanographer to have dived the deepest in history at 10,806 m (Oct. 24), has validated a positioning system, making submersible dives safer.

TDC’s new “full ocean depth” sonar is used to map ocean trenches.
