SELECTARC is the only French manufacturer of welding and brazing filler metals, which it develops, manufactures, recommends and distributes in France and internationally.
Thanks to over 200 years’ experience in metallurgy, SELECTARC is recognized as the French benchmark for filler metals in assembly, repair and hardfacing.
SELECTARC has two production sites, a logistics platform, an R&D center and support functions grouped together at its headquarters, enabling it to guarantee the sovereignty of strategic sectors such as naval, defense, nuclear, aeronautics, rail, industrial refrigeration or Oil&Gas.
SELECTARC has the high technical skills to meet the requirements of all business sectors by offering a wide range of high-quality filler metals:
- welding filler metals: coated electrodes, solid or cored wires for MIG/MAG processes, TIG rods and wire, wires and fluxes for submerged arc, special wires;
- aluminum, copper or copper-silver brazing filler metals: bare solid or tubular wires, bare, coated or tubular rods, flux strippers, rings and preforms.
Thanks to its two R&D laboratories and over 200 years of expertise and know-how in metallurgy, SELECTARC offers customized filler metal developments for specific applications: filler product formulations, customized testing, as well as numerous quality-controlled services (wire working with wire drawing, straightening and cutting, winding, pickling and identification).
SELECTARC develops and manufactures over 300 types of arc-welding coated electrodes for assembly and maintenance & repair applications, in nickel, aluminum, non-alloy and copper alloys used in the marine industry.
The R&D team, made up of metallurgical engineers and chemical PhDs and engineers, can develop tailor-made electrode coating formulations to meet a specific need.
SELECTARC develops and manufactures welding wires and rods for TIG, MIG, MAG, sub-flux, micro-laser and special wires, in nickel, aluminum, non-alloy and copper alloys used in the shipbuilding industry.
Our welding wires are used in many applications such as: shipbuilding, aeronautics, energy, automotive, chemical and petrochemical industry, medical, etc.
Our historic know-how in wire processing enables us to offer the following customized services, operated under quality control:
– wire drawing for all types of alloys;
– straightening and cutting to specific lengths for all types of alloys;
– winding for all types of metal wires in different diameters, types of carriers and weights according to customer specifications;
– pickling and cleaning using chemical and mechanical processes;
– identification possible by flagging, stamping or painting.
