Open Sea Bird (OSB), is a recruitment consultancy, founded in February 2023 by Sophie DE LA FOYE, who spent over 20 years in industry. Jean Jacques CROSNIER, a recognized expert in the field, joined the venture in March 2024.
Open Sea Bird offers its customers, throughout France, recruitment solutions for executives and senior managers, via 3 offerings: direct approach, interim management and HR consulting.
Specializing in industry, particularly the shipbuilding industry, Open Sea Bird draws on its knowledge of the sector to provide informed advice, target the right profiles and act as a credible intermediary between its customers and candidates. Major groups and start-ups alike place their trust in us, and we do our utmost to earn it.


OSB consulting offers its customers three services: direct approach recruitment, interim management and HR consulting, to provide the most appropriate response to their needs. Its preferred sectors are naval, energy and defense. Its customers are leaders in all 3 sectors, as well as ETIs and start-ups. Founded in January 2023, this recruitment firm is growing by bringing together legitimate personalities in these fields to gain maximum credibility with the candidates it approaches. Open Sea Bird’s working method is as follows: fully understand the need to provide clear advice, follow each candidate every step of the way, and enter into a long-term relationship of trust with its customers.

‘It’s about carrying out a recruitment that couldn’t êbe filled by advertisement or that needs êto be carried out in complete confidentiality.
The stages:
– the « brief » which defines the specifications of the search. OSB’s role is to listen, rephrase and advise in order to get off to the best possible start;
– the identification of profiles, a time-consuming task which OSB relieves its customers of;
– making contact. The aim is to interest candidates who are not looking for a job. It’s all about being both attractive and honest;
– assessing technical and behavioral skills: a job for the craftsman;
– monitoring the process, accompanying the customer and the candidate every step of the way.
