OLEDCOMM
Oledcomm is a French company, a spin-off from the University of Paris-Saclay, and a world leader in last-mile optical wireless communications (LiFi).
Oledcomm employs around 30 people and designs, manufactures end-to-end LiFi operating solutions (products, software and services), including transceivers (modems), Lifi optoelectronic modules, dongles and access points, as well as embedded software and firmware.
In January 2018, Oledcomm launches the first LiFi® lamp accessible to the general public (two innovation awards at CES in Las Vegas). In October 2019, Oledcomm supplies LiFi modems for the first Lifi demonstration flight (Air France partnership). In 2020, LiFiMAX® satisfies more than 500 customers worldwide. In 2021, Oledcomm is the first company to miniaturize LIFI technology with an ASIC (Analog Front End) using automotive-certified technology from ST-Micro. In 2021, Oledcomm wins the European Innovation Council (IEC) gas pedal. On April 15, 2023, Oledcomm becomes the first company to have a LiFi module validated in space. In May 2023, Oledcomm successfully develops the enhanced LiFi solution (SOLERIS) for defense implementations. This product was operationally tested by the French army during the ORION exercises and by the NRF NL/DE command battalion during NATO’s NOBLE JUMP exercise in Sardinia.
Soléris is an undetectable, wireless, high-speed communications solution. Designed for Defense, our product responds to several issues detected in network deployment:
– tested during the ORION exercise, then by NATO during Noble jump, the feedback and conclusions from these units are identical. Soléris reduces command post deployment time by 75% in constrained and sensitive environments. In addition, we have structured the deployment of tablets connected to the LI-FI network within a nuclear attack submarine;
– its operation is based on the flashing of light waves at high speed and in the infrared range. This makes its electromagnetic signature zero. Communication is therefore undetectable and non-interceptable;
– finally, our product enables physical networks to be separated by two different wavelengths (Diffusion Restreinte and Secret Défense). In the same environment, operators will be able to connect to both networks while retaining their mobility in space.

LI-FI max is a short-distance, wireless, high-speed, undetectable means of communication. Designed for simple integration into infrastructures such as secure offices or buildings sensitive to radio frequency waves. Our product emits no electromagnetic signature and allows no user to connect outside the secure environment. Cybersecurity is an undeniable asset of our technology for all our customers.
This cradle-to-grave technology enables the operator to be highly mobile within a room. Our manager also manages the movement of users in large environments such as warehouses. Our solution has already equipped areas of over 500m2 for aeronautical maintenance environments.
Functioning thanks to a transmitter and a receiver, communication takes place thanks to high-speed light exchanges. The latency of this technology is five times lower than that of WI-FI. The Access Point coordinates network communication between its antennas and your router. The dongle follows a plug and play approach for ease of use.
