In particular, LATTY has developed a range of mechanical seals specifically designed for the marine industry and its constraints, such as a seal that can be installed at sea, while still guaranteeing the quality of the seal. Our products (e.g. mechanical seals on pumps, packing braids on valves, gaskets on flanges, etc.) can be used in a wide range of applications; on flanges) are used on surface vessels such as the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, late-model corvettes and submarines.
Thanks to its policy of constant innovation, LATTY is able to meet requirements, standards and directives such as WRAS and Naval Group approvals.
LATTY GMS B 31210 mechanical seal is designed to ensure sealing around the shaft while facilitating maintenance operations. It consists of a stationary part, centred and fixed to the bulkhead, incorporating a friction face, an inflatable seal, springs and an O-ring, and a rotary part equipped with a friction face, a driving ring and O-rings. Its separate wear parts can be easily replaced without dismantling the shaft.
The mechaical seal LATTYseal GPC bulkhead seal provides sealing around the shaft without contact under normal operating conditions. In the event of a pressure difference, the rotary face is compressed against the stationary part to enhance sealing. Made from a synthetic material with high friction resistance, it is suitable for dry or wet applications. Fully split, the mechaical seal LATTYseal GPC allows wear parts to be replaced without dismantling the shaft, simplifying maintenance operations.
