‘The VIB HD 45 is part of the VIB range of omnidirectional, long-travel mounts featuring a metal embasement frame and a tapped core at the top. The elastomer is a natural rubber base specially developed for marine applications (other materials on request), providing a high level of vibration isolation and shock absorption. Their structural resistance corresponds to a continuous acceleration of 10 g of the maximum load. The range comprises 17 references with a wide load range from 15 to 1,670 daN. These brackets meet the European and North American shock specifications used by all naval forces. The reinforcements are treated against corrosion (e.g. salt spray), and a version with stainless steel reinforcement is available on request.’
