GESTAL is a medium-sized company founded in 1946. It employs around 650 people and has forecast sales of 59 million euros for 2021.
It operates 50% in the naval sector, 25% in the aeronautical sector and 25% in the industrial sector.
Through these areas of expertise, GESTAL has built up relationships of trust with its customers: Chantiers de l’Atlantique, General Electric, Naval Group, shipowners as well as Airbus, Stelia, Arcelor Mittal, Man, EDF…
GESTAL specializes in industrial services for new electrical work, plumbing/piping, locksmithing and multi-technical industrial maintenance.
It also has production facilities for boilermaking, locksmithing and piping for industry, as well as aluminum sheet metal for aeronautics.
Services:
For decades, GESTAL has carried out electrical, piping and locksmithing installations on ships (river, sea and military), on a subcontracting basis (scope varies according to networks) but also on a turnkey basis.
GESTAL provides 100% of the ships produced by Chantiers de l’Atlantique with all the temporary networks needed to build the ships at the panel, block and on-board stages.
GESTAL also carries out modernization work on propulsion control systems, as well as mechanical propulsion repairs (e.g. Pods).
Finally, GESTAL provides maintenance services for Chantier de l’Atlantique’s industrial facilities and shipyard infrastructures (multi-year, multi-service contract), and has an electric motor repair workshop.
GESTAL has 5,000 m² of workshops for the manufacture of pipes, locksmithing and boiler-making parts for the naval, MRE and general industrial sectors.
GESTAL also has strong expertise in electrical cabinet wiring.
