FOURE LAGADEC
A global group, FOURÉ LAGADEC’s main activities are industrial boiler making and industrial maintenance. Within this company, FOURÉ LAGADEC MARINE specializes in the design, sale and maintenance of complex assemblies for the naval industry.
As part of the development of renewable marine energies on the different maritime fronts, and with a strong presence in the major French industrial ports of Dunkirk, Le Havre, Brest, Saint-Nazaire, La Rochelle and Marseille, FOURÉ LAGADEC supports turbine and energy manufacturers in the definition, industrialization and manufacture of their boiler structures and mechanically-welded integrated assemblies.
The development and maintenance of the systems we offer require a wide range of skills:
– our expertise in hydrodynamics and platform motion enables us to develop roll reduction equipment of recognized effectiveness;
– our technicians are particularly skilled in the development of assemblies subject to high mechanical stress. The equipment is designed using the latest CAD/CAM tools;
– we design the hydraulic diagrams for our equipment ourselves, and work with recognized hydraulic engineers to develop and manufacture them;
– the electrics and PLCs for our systems are designed using dedicated software and test equipment;
– our technicians intervene worldwide for troubleshooting and dry-docking;
– design, manufacturing, start-up, maintenance and obsolescence management are at the heart of our know-how, throughout the entire life cycle of the installation.
Active fin stabilizers have been developed by FOURE LAGADEC Marine (formerly ACH Engineering) since 1978. These stabilizers have been installed on various types of vessels (cruise ships, ferries, container ships, frigates and aircraft carriers) and have proven their efficiency and reliability. After more than 30 years in use, the 10th stabilizer installed is still being monitored. To adapt to new market demands, FL Marine is continually improving its systems with new developments, such as new fin profiles (patented Alpha Fin profile), force feedback or optimized structures. Fin surfaces range from 2.2 to 20 m², for both civil and military markets. Other characteristics can be studied on request. The main aim of the various developments is to reduce costs through easier production, reduced maintenance and improved reliability. Our systems are optimized to facilitate integration by the construction site.
