FORSSEA Robotics develops underwater systems (autonomous robots, intelligent cameras) for inspection and exploration missions in the offshore energy sector (offshore wind farms, Oil & Gas, Military). After 5 years of R&D, the company began marketing its technologies in 2020, and is already working with a number of major accounts (Technip, Eiffage).
Ifremer, Europe’s leading research center for ocean knowledge, has taken a stake in the company to accelerate partnerships in deep-sea environments.

V-LOC calculates the real-time coordinates of your assets thanks to the open-source beacons affixed to them. Our technology is embedded in a calibrated camera that comes in aerial and underwater versions, or for high-precision marine surveys.

The DriX O-16 USV has been designed to deploy and recover subsea systems. This vision is now becoming reality with the successful integration of FORSSEA’s new Argos X inspection-class ROV. This milestone enhances DriX O-16’s versatility, enabling subsea inspection from near-surface to 300 m, alongside hydroacoustic survey and surveillance payloads—all from a proven, resilient and sensor-agnostic platform.

Our ARGOS ROV completed autonomous flights around wind turbine foundations during the Saint-Nazaire 2025 ROV Survey Campaign, onboard the ALKA LARGO CTV. Waypoints were generated in a dedicated digital twin with the Client, enabling pre-programmed flight paths at various speeds, while manual control remained available at all times. INS/DVL positioning supported 1–3 hour inspections, delivering faster, more stable GVI/CVI of key assets such as anodes, cable exits and ICCP.
