FEBUS Optics creates instruments based on its Distributed Fiber Optic Sensing technologies. By collecting data on acoustics (DAS), temperature (DTS) and deformation (DSS), these instruments can be used to monitor the integrity of infrastructures, optimize their production, reduce environmental impact and protect people. Developed by a team highly qualified in physics, optics, mechanics, electronics and IT, FEBUS solutions generate real-time alerts and pinpoint incidents in sectors such as energy, defense, research and civil engineering. Its configuration, processing and visualization software and proprietary algorithms complete the offer. FEBUS markets its devices, which can be supplied in fully-equipped cabinets, and complete solutions (assistance with fiber optic deployment, measuring, pre-processing).
FEBUS A1 (DAS) takes acoustic measurements over dozens of kilometers (up to 70 km and 100 km with the long-range option). Its state-of-the-art sensitivity enables it to detect all events. The FEBUS A1 has a very low power consumption, and can be configured to measure up to three different gauge lengths simultaneously. Its 2-channel version allows simultaneous, synchronized measurements on two fiber optic cables.
‘The FEBUS G1 (DSS & DTS) performs strain and temperature measurements over tens of kilometers (up to 100 km and 130 km with the long-range option). Offering up to 16 measurement channels, it enables measurements to be taken in difficult environments. The FEBUS G1 is available in a rack-mountable version, a portable version for one-off or mobile acquisitions, and a dynamic version for rapid measurements. Finally, the FEBUS G2 enables independent strain and temperature measurements.
