EYEGAUGE is a marine technology start-up based in Paris (France) and Singapore, whose mission is to make any ship “smart” without changing anything on board. Our mission is to help shipowners, ship operators and ship management companies achieve IMO decarbonization targets and overcome compliance hurdles such as CII, EU ETS, etc. Our aim is to bring digital innovation to the maritime industry and make it accessible and affordable to all industry players through real-time monitoring of fuel consumption, emissions, fleet performance and on-board equipment status.
Gathering reliable data is essential to achieving decarbonization and sustainability goals through digital transformation. However, data availability remains a challenge. On 85% of ships, we find equipment that generates no data at all, or the equipment manufacturer is unwilling to share it freely. Data is therefore collected manually, resulting in low frequency and inaccuracy. This makes it difficult to analyze and use for decision-making. To remedy this, EYEGAUGE has developed the Unified Fleet Data Platform, an innovative solution for digitizing machinery and equipment on ships of any type, age or manufacturer. Designed for shipowners, operators and management companies, the platform provides actionable information on fleet performance, emissions and compliance.
The platform is based on a unique, patented data collection solution compatible with any on-board analog or digital equipment, even if locked by manufacturers. It collects data at high frequency (10 minutes or less) in a non-contact, non-invasive way. The solution can be easily installed by the crew, even during the voyage, making it affordable and accessible to all industry players. Once collected, data is transmitted to the cloud for processing, cleansing, storage and analysis. With intuitive dashboards, graphs and trend visualization, the platform provides real-time alerts, actionable insights and decision support for maritime fleet optimization. Accessible both ashore and onboard, the platform fosters transparency and trust between industry players by facilitating data sharing between shipowners and operators.
