EUROSAM is the industrial prime contractor and system design authority for the development, production, in-service support, marketing and sales of a range of naval and land-based air defense systems based on ASTER missiles. The GIE was created by MBDA and THALES.
EUROSAM products are in operational service: the SAMP/T in the French air force and Italian army, the SAAM and PAAMS in the French and Italian navies, and ASTER missiles on these systems and in the British navy.
EUROSAM, project manager and industrial architect, develops, produces and markets surface-to-air defense systems, based on ASTER missiles, for naval and land applications.
The PAAMS system and its ASTER missiles are the main weapons system on Horizon frigates.
Anti-aircraft system for ship self-defense and consort protection. Includes multifunction radar (Arabel or Empar), Sylver onboard vertical launch system, ASTER 15 missiles. In service since 2001.
