DCI Naval component (DCI-NAVFCO) offers a wide range of solutions:
– academic training for officers and non-commissioned officers;

Initial naval officer training IN-NAVO

The DCI Group is offering an initial naval officer training course in collaboration with the Ecole navale and the Université de Bretagne Occidentale. Delivered in Brest over three years and in English, the aim of the course is to train young cadets to become naval officers in accordance with French standards, and to ensure that they are immaculate in their new role;they are immediately capable of serving on board a surface vessel as a deck or engine department manager, and as a bridge watch manager or watch engineer.

The Centre International de Formation à la Plongée Militaire offers training on underwater drones (AUV, USV, ROV) enabling, in particular, the conduct of operational activities in underwater work, reconnaissance and mine clearance.

navOcean is a joint structure established between the DCI and PIRIOU groups to operate the Almak, a maritime training vessel, used primarily for academic and operational training delivered by DCI-NAVFCO. navOcean also has expertise in the fields of ship management and trial vessel operation.

Since its launching in 2013, “Almak” carried out more than 200 periods at sea (practical maritime training) and supported DCI operational activities (operational readiness of the Egyptian Navy destroyer “Tahya Misr”).
navOcéan provided a crew onboard austral vessel “Astrolabe” (sea trials, crew training, transit).

DCI Group is the reference operator of the French Ministry of the Armed Forces for the transfer of French military know-how abroad. DCI Group operates across the entire spectrum of national defense and security, offering customized Consulting, Training and Assistance services, as well as the provision of operational resources.

The naval branch of DCI Group, DCI/NAVFCO transfers know-how from the French Navy to foreign navies. DCI/NAVFCO is involved in naval programs, equipment sales and the provision of operational or collective training.

Since 1980, DCI/NAVFCO has trained more than 13,000 foreign trainees (officers, naval engineers, naval officers, sailors) from some thirty countries, particularly in Europe, Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
