Glehen Shipyard, since 1911, is specialized in the construction and repair of steel and aluminium vessels.
Operating from three sites in France, main shipyard is in Douarnenez, the company builds and repairs professional vessels up to 40 metres in length for public and private owners, both civilian and military.
With a workforce of 40 employees, the shipyard provides full project management and turnkey vessel construction, including engineering, fabrication, welding, propulsion systems, piping and hydraulics, machining, interior outfitting.
The Quality Management System is certified to ISO 9001.

Military, gendarmerie and coast guard vessels, patrol boats, tugs, pilot boats, harbour and mooring vessels, research and oceanographic vessels, support and service vessels, multicats, offshore vessels, CTV, passenger vessels, fishing and oyster-farming vessels, as well as inland waterway vessels.
Committed to decarbonisation, the shipyard has also built innovative hybrid and fully electric vessels, which are now successfully in operation.

Ship repair and vessel maintenance are a core part of our business.
We have dedicated teams specialising in ship repair and maintenance, either working at our shipyard and dry-docking facilities or travelling to vessels wherever required by our customers.
We provide a comprehensive range of services, from minor afloat repairs and routine maintenance to dry-docking and major, complex technical stops, including vessel refits, conversions, retrofits and modernisation projects.

Dry-docking facilities at the ports of Douarnenez and Le Guilvinec
Douarnenez: up to 40 m long, 9 m wide and 350 tonnes, with access to the shipyard’s covered production hall.
Le Guilvinec: up to 30 m long, 10 m wide and 350 tonnes.
