Chantier Naval Delavergne
85440 AVRILLE
In 1983, Patrick DELAVERGNE set up the company in an old forge in Avrillé, 25 km from Les Sables d’Olonne. The first work carried out was aluminum wheelhouses and equipment for local mussel farmers.
In 1990, the yard moved to a larger workshop, where the first boat was built, a 16 m aluminum catamaran for mussel farming.
This was followed by numerous boats and vessels for various sectors of activity, such as passenger transport, marine works and port services, sea and inland water rescue, shellfish farming, diving, etc.
In 2021, Jean-Marie COUDE took over the shipyard with Franck DELAVERGNE. The shipyard produces vessels with a wide range of hull shapes: catamaran, monohull, bulbous bow, chine hulls, very tapered hulls, etc.
The shipyard combines its thinking on boat building methods with real flexibility, enabling it to best satisfy its customers’ demands, while at the same time guaranteeing the identity of each vessel.
Ships are built individually up to 45 m, and based on specific specifications, taking into account the site of use and the particularities of the shipowners’ activity.
The shipyard also builds so-called “production” boats in sizes from 3 to 8.50 m, with deck plans always fitted out and equipped according to the precise needs of the users.
