CERBAIR
CERBAIR is the French reference in anti-drone systems for the detection, characterization and neutralization of unauthorized drones. Drawing on its expertise in radio-frequency signal processing, CERBAIR designs, deploys and maintains systems to protect airspace for critical infrastructures, military bases, warships and national events, against the evolving drone threat. Specializing in radiofrequency technology applied to anti-drone warfare, CERBAIR has rapidly become the reference in protocol recognition combined with a range of passive detection systems and intelligent jamming systems.
CERBAIR is a French company specializing in anti-drone solutions. CERBAIR uses radio-frequency technologies to detect, characterize and neutralize drones in order to counter the threats they may represent. As such, CERBAIR protects all types of sensitive sites (armies, airports, vital operators, events, VIPs…). Over the past ten years, we have built up a strong reputation and marketed our solutions to the French Ministry of the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Justice, the French National Police and internationally.
CERBAIR has developed 3 ranges of anti-drone protection solutions, each based on mastery of the radio frequency (RF) spectrum:
– RF detection solutions: HYDRA;
– RF neutralization solutions: MEDUSA;
– a hybrid RF detection and neutralization solution: CHIMERA.
Various services are offered, including training, technical assistance and maintenance activities.
The MEDUSA150 is CERBAIR’s latest range of medium-power, multi-band digital jammers. The MEDUSA150 produces a strong electronic signal to saturate a given frequency band and disrupt drone navigation by interfering with the communications on which it depends: uplink, downlink and GNSS reception. When one or more of these communication channels are interfered with, the drone triggers the emergency protocol set by its pilot before takeoff’.
HYDRA 300 is a directional drone detection system with phase direction finding. It relies on one or more sensors, for 360° coverage, which analyze the radiofrequency spectrum using advanced signal processing and artificial intelligence algorithms.
Multiple and dual applications
The HYDRA 300 system addresses threats associated with civilian drones. Applications include:
– Strategic sites or critical industries (airports, ports, energy production sites, prisons…)
– Military and official sites (borders, bases, maneuver areas, official and government buildings…)
– Event protection (stadiums, large
public gatherings…)
– Embedded on a mobility vector (vehicle, convoy, aircraft)
HYDRA 200 is an omnidirectional drone detection system operating on low-frequency bands, and a directional system using radiogoniometry on high-frequency bands. It relies on multiple sensors that analyze the radiofrequency spectrum through advanced signal processing and artificial intelligence algorithms.
HYDRA 100 is an omnidirectional drone detection system. It relies on a sensor that analyzes the electromagnetic spectrum using advanced signal processing and artificial intelligence algorithms.
The CHIMERA 200 system enables early detection and neutralization of drones, helping to prevent attacks and protect troops, convoys, and military installations. As a first line of defense against this threat, CERBAIR’s radiofrequency technology enhances operational security by reducing the risks posed by hostile drones.

Born in 2015, CERBAIR is the French benchmark in anti-drone systems specializing in radio frequency detection and jamming. Its systems enhance public safety at major events and protect the airspace of critical infrastructures such as military bases, warships, prisons, civilian airports, ports, presidential palaces and VVIP convoys.
CERBAIR supplies radio frequency technology used directly on site by operators, installed on mobile platforms (ships, land and air vehicles) or integrated into complex systems.
.
About CERBAIR: designer of systems to detect and neutralize malicious drones since 2015, the strengths of CERBAIR technology are: signal processing quality and the highest level of false alarms on the market. CERBAIR designs and manufactures its systems in France, and has won the trust of major corporate and institutional players such as the Ministries of the Armed Forces, the Interior and Justice in France and internationally. Thanks to its latest HYDRA 300 technology, CERBAIR has been awarded contracts for the most recent French reference programs: an anti-drone system on naval platforms for the French Navy, DCND to protect French prisons (50 sites over 4 years) and the PARADE anti-drone program to equip the Ministry of the Armed Forces over a period of 11 years.
