BV M&O has issued an Approval in Principle (AiP) to iXblue, a global high-tech company and pioneer in the field of marine autonomy, for its innovative surface drone named DriX. This AiP meets the safety requirements of the marine drone, which operates on the innovative concept of remotely supervised autonomy. NI641 recommendations were used as a framework for the analysis of DriX’s architecture and critical functions.
