Context: our customer, a major petrochemical group, asked us to design and produce a digital tool to support its technicians and engineers working on FPSO production platforms.
Objectives: exploit and add value to all the customer’s DMU information using the most efficient digital technologies available today.
Solutions:
– development of a digital VR solution enabling the user to navigate freely in the 3D scene in either pedestrian or free-flight mode;
– optimization of the digital model;
– integration of 5 panoramic views accessible from the 3D scene;
– demonstration of the possibilities of integrating a data sheet;
– measurement function between two points positioned on the model;
– WebGL porting of part of the model
