The NH90 NFH is the naval version of the European program for transport and combat helicopters with a maximum take-off weight of 11 tonnes. Chosen by the French, German, Italian, Dutch, Belgian and Norwegian navies, its modularity provides them with high-performance capabilities for naval combat (anti-submarine and anti-surface), sea rescue, transport, maritime security and maritime counter-terrorism. To carry out these missions, the NH90 NFH is capable of carrying a wide range of equipment (radar, electro-optical equipment, sonar, acoustic buoys, torpedoes, anti-ship missiles, ESM, etc.). It is also designed for frigate embarkation (automatic folding of blades and tail boom, harpoon and lashings, buoyancy, adapted anti-corrosion treatment, compatibility with onboard handling systems).
.
The VSR700 is an onboard helicopter drone system currently under development to meet the needs of the French Navy in particular, but also foreign navies. It offers multi-sensor carrying capacity (radar, EOS, ASM buoys, etc.), with long endurance (10 hours and more), while retaining a size that makes it compatible for embarkation alongside a helicopter, with easy implementation and maintenance. AIRBUS’ main industrial partners are NAVAL Group, Hélicoptère Guimbal, SAFRAN, and THALES.
