SURVEY Copter has signed a contract with the French defense procurement agency (DGA) to supply the French Navy with 11 systems (22 aircraft) of Aliaca maritime version fixed-wing electric UAVs (dubbed SMDM / “Systèmes deMini Drones aériens embarqués de la Marine”), as well as associated training and integrated logistics support.

The first deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2021.

These studies will culminate in a sea demonstration on a Navy frigate in September 2022.
