About

ÆGIR, a software, algorithmic and Artificial Intelligence (AI) startup, develops a maritime mission management solution involving complex, multi-agent naval devices for defense, security, research and industrial missions. Our innovation combines numerous AI and algorithmic technologies with advanced software capabilities to offer a “Command & Control” solution optimized for tactical and strategic decision-making. ÆGIR is targeting the market for maritime mission management software that integrates UAVs into its system, i.e. including conventional support systems, remotely operated systems and even fully autonomous UAVs.

The company’s business is based on the sale of its OCTOPUS software solution, as well as associated services and support for deployment and training. The company is currently in the process of developing an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) in order to be able to respond to exercises and missions involving the testing of solutions for seabed management. The company’s skills are focused on software development, modeling of complex physical systems and artificial intelligence. Without being experts in the world of maritime operations, the members of the company have a good general knowledge of maritime operations and remote-controlled and/or autonomous UAV systems. This knowledge is intended to be extended by integrating former operational staff into the teams.

OCTOPUS

“Our OCTOPUS innovation combines numerous AI and algorithmic technologies with advanced software capabilities to offer a « Command & Control » solution optimized for tactical and strategic decision-making.
Deployed in an operations center, on land or at sea, it enables users to:
– design: define the operation, and optimize the initial set-up of naval and maritime components best suited to carrying out the mission, while respecting all the constraints dictated by the needs and specificities of operations at sea;
– plan/schedule the engagement : by programming the operations, interactions and tasks to be carried out by all those involved in the initial maneuver;
– supervise: by proposing adjustments to the initially-ordered system over the useful tactical timeframe, and providing the tactician with the relevant information to make the right decisions to maximize mission success;
– exploit: by offering replay capability, feedback and mission data enhancement through automatic report generation.’
