ADV PROPULSE
Founded in 2020, ADV Propulse is a subsidiary of ADV Tech, which has been working since 2012 on the development of a new type of high-efficiency biomimetic rotor.
Since 2017, work has focused on naval propulsion, the sector in which the technology’s differentiating factors and marketing prospects are strongest.
The markets addressed by ADV Propulse are as follows:
– USV drones: thrusters from 1 to 5 kW;
– sailing yachts: reversible thrusters in hydrogenerators from 15 to 50 kW;
– professional boats (intervention launches, fishing, coastal work): 100 to 800 kW;
– passenger transport (promenade, ferries): 500 kW to 3 MW;
– offshore services (wind farms, O&G): 600kW to 3 MW.
ADV Propulse is structured around a design office with a simulation platform and a design team, and a prototyping and thruster assembly workshop.
ADV Propulse has developed 2 kW thrusters for a floating drone. Bathymetry missions have been carried out with this vector on behalf of major operators (EDF, Voies Navigables de France, Compagnie Nationale du Rhône)’.
