GICAN is a partner of the Assises nationales du fleuve, a professional conference devoted to the waterways.
THE ASSISES NATIONALES DU FLEUVE
The second edition of the Assises nationales du fleuve will take place on 22 and 23 May in Strasbourg and will welcome more than 400 participants during the 2-day conference.
Objectives of the conference :
- Promote exchanges and networking: encourage collective thinking and the creation of synergies between participants.
- Address the major issues of the future: discuss key themes such as the river as a place to live, an economic resource, a transport infrastructure, a leisure area and a natural heritage to be preserved.
- Bringing together the diversity of river stakeholders: providing a platform for exchange between professionals from a variety of river-related sectors.
- Developing a collective vision: sharing a common approach to the challenges and opportunities linked to rivers, by decompartmentalising the different sectors of activity.
