Unseenlabs, leader in radiofrequency (RF) signal detection from space, announced the successful launch of its BRO-18 satellite on June 23, 2025. This new satellite has expanded the existing constellation and strengthened the company’s operational capabilities in the fight against illegal and undeclared activities at sea.
The launch was carried out as part of SpaceX’s Transporter-14 mission from Vandenberg Base (California). The Unseenlabs constellation now counts 17 satellites in orbit.
Enhanced operational capabilities:
- Accelerated revisit times of the constellation
- Precise RF signal detection even without cooperative beacon
- 24/7 surveillance in all weather conditions
- Geolocation and characterization of vessels at sea
BRO-18 enables Unseenlabs to consolidate its position as a strategic partner for states and private actors in critical domains: maritime security, fight against illegal fishing, environmental risk prevention and insurance risk assessment.
2026 Vision: In parallel, Unseenlabs is designing a second RF constellation planned for 2026, designed to cover other environments (terrestrial, aerial and space), thus expanding its use cases towards multi-domain electromagnetic intelligence.
This sovereign French technology offers decision-makers a unique action capability to monitor, qualify and anticipate suspicious behavior at sea.
