Exail to supply a European Navy with light, rapidly deployable MCM systems

Exail has been awarded a contract by a European navy to deliver three light Mine Countermeasures (MCM) systems designed for rapid deployment from Rigid-Hulled Inflatable Boats (RHIBs).

Operational agility

Driven by Exail’s Umisoft software and operated by a crew of only three, this compact and modular setup is specifically developed for very shallow waters and infrastructure-limited environments where larger vessels cannot operate, thereby drastically reducing the logistical footprint.

This contract demonstrates the value of Exail’s UMIS approach, offering navies modular, reliable, and rapidly deployable solutions tailored to increasingly complex maritime threats.

The Importance for the French Maritime Industry

This contract reinforces Exail’s position as a global leader in naval robotics and highlights the excellence of the French maritime and industrial sector. By winning international contracts of this scale, France demonstrates its technological sovereignty and export capability in the field of underwater mine warfare.
