EURONAVAL 2026: Photospace invests €10.5 million in a new 2,000 sqm facility to multiply production area by five
Building on its twenty-year track record in specialized embedded technologies, French SME Photospace is taking a major step forward in its industrial scaling. As a recognized provider of geolocation, optronic, and antenna systems for defense and maritime security, the company has announced a €10.5 million industrial investment dedicated to constructing a brand-new 2,000-square-meter facility in Dammarie-lès-Lys, France.
Scheduled to break ground in 2027 with completion targeted for mid-2028, the new site is designed to address the steadily growing demand from military forces and prime contractors for ruggedized naval and industrial electronics. The complex will house the company’s corporate headquarters, engineering and R&D departments, and a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant that will expand Photospace’s production footprint fivefold.
The architectural layout of the campus is structured around full operational integration. By bringing design offices, assembly lines, and dedicated indoor and outdoor test benches together on a single site, Photospace aims to streamline manufacturing workflows, shorten delivery lead times, and maintain strict control over production costs. This localized approach relies on modular component architectures, ensuring systems can be rapidly tailored to specific vessel integration constraints.
By consolidating its engineering and manufacturing operations domestically, Photospace reinforces its commitment to sovereign industrial practices, ensuring complete control over the entire lifecycle of its equipment from initial R&D to final delivery.
Photospace will showcase its comprehensive product portfolio and industrial expansion roadmap at EURONAVAL 2026 in Paris from November 3 to 6 (Stand F66).
