Naval Group, MESKO and TELESYSTEM Sign a Sea Firing Trials Agreement

On June 19th, 2026, Naval Group, MESKO and TELESYSTEM signed an agreement to demonstrate MESKO’s Piorun missile capacity onto Naval Group’s Rampart system during future naval exercises.

This agreement marks the first step of a mutually beneficial strategic cooperation intended to support the future integration of the missile into the launching system.

In an asymmetric and complex operational environment, providing innovative options to manage different types of threats remains the highest priority for the three partners. The companies will thus explore the integration of the Piorun missile onto the Rampart to offer an integrated European solution for countering conventional and asymmetric threats, addressing naval, air and land forces.

With complementary skills and know-how, Naval Group will bring its experience in integrating weapons and launching systems on warships, while MESKO and TELESYSTEM will contribute with their expertise in the production and supply of high-technology missiles.

MESKO’s Piorun is a modern short-range surface-to-air missile designed to counter low-flying aerial threats (aircrafts, helicopters, UAVs and winged rockets) thanks to a fuse equipped with a proximity sensor.
