The 13th edition of the DEFEXPO 2024 tri-weapon defense exhibition is part of a drive to strengthen the Indian defense industry, within the framework of Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat (Autonomous India). On July 14, 2023, India and France celebrated 25 years of strategic partnership between the two countries, of which the defense sector is a major pillar. French companies will be presenting their solutions to the Indian armed forces, Indian buyers and regional delegations, and discussing the latest innovations in the sector at the show’s conference program. GICAN-SOGENA will be coordinating the French pavilion at the show, the dates and venue of which will probably be known by the end of 2023.
