GICAN is federating the French Pavilion at the DEFEA exhibition in Athens from May 9 to 11, 2023, with the support of the French Ministry of the Armed Forces and the DGA. This is the most important defense exhibition in the Mediterranean, and an opportunity to present your equipment and services to customers and prospects in the area, and to meet local industrial partners.
France and Greece enjoy very close political and defense relations, which have been strengthened in recent years, with the defense agreement ratified in 2021. The Greek armed forces have or have ordered French equipment and systems – ships, combat aircraft, helicopters, armored vehicles, missiles and radars – and numerous opportunities exist in the defense and security fields. Industrial cooperative ventures exist and are being considered between companies in both countries.
The regional show is also an opportunity to pursue relations and cooperation with other countries in the Mediterranean basin and the Near and Middle East, allies of France and Greece.
