GICAN brings together the French Pavilion at the Saudi International Maritime Forum (SIM) from November 19 to 21, 2026 (Riyad, Saudi Arabia)

Organised every two years by the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, the Saudi International Maritime Forum (SIM) has become an unmissable event for professionals in the maritime, naval defence and regional security sectors.

Designed as an integrated platform, it combines high-level conferences, specialised workshops and a technology exhibition to address key issues such as maritime security, naval systems, cyber security and artificial intelligence applied to naval operations.

The exhibition will take place in Riyadh, on Novembre 19th to 21st, 2026.

Key figures (2024 edition)

  • 55 national and international exhibitors representing 22 countries at the show
  • The French pavilion was the only national pavilion present, highlighting its strategic positioning in this market
  • Hybrid format: conferences, workshops (‘maritime strategies in the AI era’, cybersecurity, etc.) and parallel exhibition
