ALSEAMAR deploys its SEAEXPLORER gliders during NATO Task Force X Baltic exercise

ALSEAMAR participated in Task Force X Baltic (TFXB) deployed in the Baltic Sea as part of an exercise coordinated by NATO’s Allied Command Transformation (ACT).

This mission aimed to evaluate the performance of innovative autonomous systems in realistic operational environments. ALSEAMAR and the French Navy deployed a fleet of five SEAEXPLORER gliders equipped with passive acoustic sensors and the AURIS edge artificial intelligence system.

Demonstrated capabilities:

  • Acoustic monitoring of the underwater battlespace
  • Qualified data transmission in near real-time to the control center
  • Interoperability with other autonomous platforms (USV, UUV, UAV)
  • Onboard data processing through AURIS technology

The deployment phases confirmed the performance of ALSEAMAR’s AURIS platform, which improves data filtering and the quality of information transmitted to the control center.

This participation illustrates ALSEAMAR’s commitment to developing autonomous submarine capabilities equipped with high-performance acoustic systems, whose effectiveness is proven in operational context.
