On February 10, 2026, GTT announced that it received an order in the first quarter of 2026 from the Samsung Heavy Industries shipyard for the tank design of two new ultra-large ethane carriers (VLECs) on behalf of an Asian shipowner.
The delivery of these vessels is scheduled between the fourth quarter of 2028 and the first quarter of 2029.
